Terms & Conditions
Swiss Ski School Stoos (SSSS)


By booking any service offer, the guest acknowledges these General Terms and Conditions of
SSSS as obliging for reservations made by/for him as well as for third parties. Unless explicitly
agreed otherwise, the General Terms and Conditions of SSSS shall apply to all transactions
between SSSS and the customer.


Contractual relationship
In case of a personal booking on site, the purchase of a ticket establishes a contractual
relationship. In all other cases, e.g. telephone, SMS, e-mail, online reservation, a written
confirmation by e-mail to SSSS is mandatory for the acceptance of the reservation request.
The costs of all bookings must be paid prior to the start of the first activity.
The lessons will be held at all weather conditions for as long as cable cars and lifts are in
operation.
Having entered a contract SSSS reserves the right to adapt or cancel the program or specific
parts of it due to adverse weather conditions, nature occurrences or other unforeseeable
circumstances, e. g. failure of the cable car(s), lift facilities, force majeure, measures taken by the
authorities, safety measures or other risks. If lessons are cancelled for any of those reasons, no
refund will be made.
The SSSS tickets are personally and not transferable. The use of the lifts, etc. is not included in it.
There is no entitlement to a refund for lost lesson time caused by failures of the cable cars and
lifts. Losses of this kind will neither be compensated nor refunded by SSSS.


Group lessons
Five people minimum. If this minimum number is not reached, or if the group is reduced to 3
participants, SSSS reserves the right to merge them or to shorten the time of lessons. Ski
instructors can be replaced at any time. Both children older than 6 years and adults must be in
possession of a valid lift pass. (not included in the price for the lesson).


Private tuition
SSSS guarantees reservations subject to full payment prior to closing the office the day prior the
lesson.


Swiss Snow League Test
On Friday the children will be tested and awarded subject to having passed the test and having
attended the lessons during at least 4 days or 4 x 2 hours of private tuition. The award will be
handed out subject to passing the test!


Insurance
The guest is not insured by SSSS. SSSS rejects any liability for accidents before, during and after
the lesson. Both accident and liability insurances are within the responsibility of the guest. An
insurance covering the risk of cancellation is recommended.


Reimbursement
Compensation of cancelled lessons due to injury or illness is possible with a valid medical
certificate. Only the difference will be refunded. A transfer or credit to next season is not possible.
The refund will be made in cash and can only be collected at the offices of SSSS.
In the event of cancellation of lessons due to force majeure such as storms, danger of avalanches,
and so on, no refund will be made. We recommend that guests seek cover by an insurance
company.


Unavailability due to accident or illness
Costs of a course booked by the guest, which he cannot or only partially be attend due to an
accident or illness, will only be reimbursed by SSSS after the presentation of a valid medical
certificate. (Calculation: rate per missed day minus administration fee of CHF 30.00 per booking).


Means of payment
The following will be accepted: Swiss Francs, Euro, Reka (50%), in cash, TWINT or credit cards.
Mastercard and Visa are accepted for online booking. The exchange rate is being adjusted at a
daily basis.


Booking & cancellation of group lessons
All lessons are to be paid prior to starting the lesson!
Firm reservations of private lessons are to be cancelled at the office at least 48 hours prior to the
start of the lesson. Cancellations less than 48 hours prior to the lesson are chargeable at the full
rate.


Delay on the agreed appointment
The guests will have no entitlement to claim any refund from SSSS in case of late arrival and/or
premature departure. Lessons or group courses which are up and running will be charged in
full.
The snow sports instructors wait no longer than 15 minutes at the agreed meeting point.
Our instructors teach in all weather conditions, subject to safety being guaranteed during the
lessons.
Participants are strictly to obey the safety rules of the FIS and to follow the instructions of the
snow sports instructors. They are well trained for such situations. By participating on any event
offered by SSSS, the guest declares that he or she is aware of these rules.


Withdrawal from the contractual relationship of courses booked online (e.g. group courses,
packages and/or private lessons)

  • up to 15 days prior to the agreed activity - booking fee: CHF 30.00
  • 07 - 14 days prior to agreed activity - 30 % of the course price
  • 01 - 06 days prior to the agreed activity - 75% of the course price
  • Day of the agreed activity - 100% of the course price

Payments already made (online bookings) by the guest will be offset against the cancellation
fee. A credit in favour of the guest will be refunded in cash or by IBAN transfer.


Data processing and image material
SSSS collects personal data necessary for the execution of bookings and the provision of the
booked services. This includes, but is not limited to, name, address, contact details and payment
information. This data is used for processing the booking processing and communication with
the guest. The data stored will be treated confidentially. Should it be necessary to provide the
booked services with a third party (packages, and so on), SSSS will have to pass on the personal
data to those third parties. If the guest has any questions or concerns about data processing, the
guest is invited to contact the management of SSSS at any time.
The guest agrees that image material made during lessons or other events may be used by SSSS
free of any compensation.


Complaint
Any complaint should be addressed by the guest to the management.


Payment
Payments by credit cards in favour of SSSS are collected by TREKKSOFT AG, Hauptstrasse 15,
3800 Matten, Switzerland ("TREKKSOFT"). TREKKSOFT will appear as TREKKSOFT TOUR
BOOKING on the statements of your credit card. The domain in which you enter and process
your payment is owned and managed by TREKKSOFT. Please email support(at)payyo.ch for any
inquiries regarding your credit card payments and chargebacks.


Place of jurisdiction and choice of law
In addition to these General Terms and Conditions of SSSS swiss law applies. The place of
jurisdiction is Schwyz. The contractual language of the contract is German.
